Eurovision

What can i say?! how about, "Ha ha ha ha ha".

That really was side splitting laughter inducing stuff! I hope you all watched it.

For you sad people that didnt, wanna see a pic of the winners? Brace yourself...

And heres the lyrics to their song Hard Rock Hallelujah

I gave this band top marks for outfit alone, (thats if they truly are outfits, you never know, this could be their natural appearance...)

My other favorite band were Lithuania, with what i gather were the (probably only) lituanian football club supporters, with their song "We are the winners of Eurovision"...obviously not. They were hilarious though.

And of course, Eurovision wouldn't be worth watching if it wern't for one man.

My trip to Yorkshire (Picture Heavy)

***UPDATE***
By Popular demand from several people whose identities will remain anonymous, here are some pics of the weekend which some other unknown people may not want to be shown. :-p
However, being the Interweb and all, i am fully aware that if someone really doesn't want certain pictures posted then i will of course take them off the blog. I can't really afford a lawsuit right now. Herebe:

***UPDATE***

I've been up to Yorkshire! "Why" you might ask, "would you want to go there by choice?" The answer is to go an see two dear old friends from EMW camp with Owen - Stephen (Shteve) and Katie (Duckie)

I had a good laff up there and i got to hold a lamb! (Pic below) aswell as see the Bradford Bulls beat the Leeds Rhinos by 2 points - 20 | 18 in a rugby league match which was cool even though i was sposed to be supporting the Rhinos :-S Another bonus was that there were cheerleaders! :-O Sweet! no pics tho srry :-(

Then we went to Chatsworth House, home of the Duke and Dutchess of Devonshire FYI and if you want some more smarty pants knowledge, it appears in the recently released film of Pride and Prejudice starring Keira Knightly.... so There! With the Dukes blessing me Owen and Shteve had a kick about with a rugby and football while the girlies went for a walk.

What else did we do? Oh yeh we went bowling, which is a really fun game to play if you're as good as me ;-) Being a modest man, it pains me to tell you all how i won both games by a significant amount but there you are, you need to be informed. he he he :-p.

For Good Friday, we went to this little chapel in Stanton Lees. Probably the smallest chapel i've ever been in but it was packed for the service which was rather good and i enjoyed a nice drink of squash and a (few) Jaffa cakes downstairs after the service.

Now, Guess what we saw on the way to Stanton Lees! Tree People! thats right! Hippies! well, when i say 'see' when we drove past, they must have all been out partying (being a Friday night, and monkey people have the need to party like the rest of us) because all we saw were their cool little tree houses. Apparently, the reason for these otherwise normal, highly intellectual members of society choosing to live like squirrels is to protest about something. What that something is im not quite sure, and so they have obviously made an firm impression on me to support their cause. The only picture i have of the mansions in the sky is this one which i know is disappointingly poor but it was a drive-by shot and we were advised to not go walking back to take better pictures in fear that some ape-men were still at home eating nuts and could mistake as being hostile intruders to their territory... so here it be.

And finally, One of the best bits of the all was getting to meet Shteves sheep! and getting to hold a little new born lamb! This lamb which i have named Berwyn to protect his true identity and to give him some welshness was really cool and i wanted to take him home with me. Shteve then decided to destroy me by telling me it wouldnt be long before Berwyn would be on someones dinner plate!
On that happy note, here's a picture of me and the other lamb lovers with the little guy then further below pictures of Shteves sheep, which, i wanted to chase round the field and catch one :-) but i was told i wasn't allowed coz some of them were pregnant with more Berwyns and apparently, being chased by me would distress them.

Apologies for the the layout, i know its messed up in places but im trying my best to get it looking good.
If anyone wants any of these pics or any of the others ive got (some right funnies :P) drop me a mail
Woah Dude, what a post! Tis huge!

They finally got me....

Last Saturday, was on the way back home from Merthyr just cruising along on the A470 minding my own business, when i found myself in a little race with a police car. Now, i know my mothers clio isnt the quickest car on the market but i was feeling confident...

I won.

Beating the policeman fair and square, he awarded me with 3 points to put on my licence *yay* but then he informed me that i still owed the entrance fee for the race which was £60.

The moral of the story - If you want to race the police, or any other type of vehicle on the roads, (excluding towns, villages and other built up areas) then be sure to have your driving licence and the (small) road racing membership fee at hand. When you're sure you've got everything the only thing left to do is remember to have fun.

Some good song lyrics

Switchfoot

This is your life

yesterday is a wrinkle on your forehead
yesterday is a promise that you've broken
don't close your eyes, don't close your eyes
this is your life and today is all you've got now
yeah, and today is all you'll ever have
don't close your eyes
don't close your eyes

this is your life, are you who you want to be
this is your life, are you who you want to be
this is your life, is it everything you dreamed that it would be
when the world was younger and you had everything to lose

yesterday is a kid in the corner
yesterday is dead and over

this is your life, are you who you want to be
this is your life, are you who you want to be
this is your life, is it everything you dreamed that it would be
when the world was younger and you had everything to lose

don't close your eyes
don't close your eyes
don't close your eyes
don't close your eyes

this is your life are you who you want to be
this is your life are you who you want to be

this is your life, are you who you want to be
this is your life, are you who you want to be
this is your life, is it everything you dreamed it would be
when the world was younger and you had everything to lose

and you had everything to lose
